OCT is a highly advanced technology used for retinal imaging and analysis.  It is a valuable tool in diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and retinal detatchments.

Advances in lens coatings

Coating technology has improved markedly in recent years. Standard anti-reflection treatments are now more resistant to smudges and deposits.

We also offer an innovative product called Drivesafe. This uses the latest technology to reduce aberrations and glare when driving, while also providing tangible benefits when using computers, phones and tablets.

Ortho-K: an alternative method of sight correction

Orthokeratology (or "Ortho K") is an interesting alternative to refractive surgery, spectacles, or wearing contact lenses throughout the day. In Ortho K, a rigid gas permeable lens is worn overnight to temporarily reshape the cornea. When removed in the morning, this provides corrected vision during waking hours. Research has also suggested that, in young people, it might stop the progression of short sightedness. Read more information here
